AI skilling only scales in regional languages

AI literacy programs measured in enrolments look successful; measured in completions, English-only programs collapse outside metro colleges. Building the AI Skilling Platform in parallel Marathi, Hindi and English changed completion behaviour: learners switch languages mid-course, using English for tool names and their first language for concepts. That required designing content as parallel translations of the same assessment objectives, not subtitled videos.

Institution-level reporting mattered as much as content: principals and district officers fund what they can see, so cohort dashboards became the renewal driver for programs.
